Part 1 of a series of four tapes, doc­u­ment­ing past edi­tions of Night of the Experimental Film, an event co-curated by us for Art Cinema OFFoff.

This record­ing is prob­a­bly the only pub­lished doc­u­men­ta­tion of the short-lived Belgian duo Camargue. Accompanying films by Denis Colomb de Daunant and Jack Chambers with ampli­fied vio­lin, elec­tron­ics and voice, they deliv­ered a stun­ning live sound­track, remind­ing us of early Tony Conrad.
